NIGERIA CONTENT COMMITMENT

TEE SQUARE LIMITED is very conversant with The Nigerian Content as the quantum (discrete, measurable) of composite value added or created in the Nigerian economy through the utilisation of Nigerian human and material resources for the provision of goods and services to the petroleum industry within acceptable quality, health, safety and environmental standards in order to stimulate the development of indigenous capabilities.

Local Content development is an initiative on the part of the Nigerian Government to help develop local capacity building in the Nigerian Oil & Gas Industry and to enable Nigerians participate actively. It can be seen as the utilization of the Nigerian human and material resources in the exploitation and exploration of the Nigerian hydrocarbon resources. Basically, local content means the development of local skills, transfer of technology, use of local manpower and local manufacturing.

At TEE SQUARE LIMITED; we clearly understand this and are vigorously pursuing the same, with a clear understanding that it is through local companies steadfast adherence to man-power development through technology transfer that the government will achieve the desired goals.

We also keep in sight; the government projection (Legistlation & Directives) on NIGERIA CONTENT INITIATIVE; and can proudly say that we in TEE SQUARE LIMITED in our various operations has surpass the set targets.

OUR POLICY

TEE SQUARE LIMITED, in full understanding and appreciation of The Nigerian Content policy has all her activities clearly geared towards progressively decreasing foreign content in her operation.

TEE SQUARE LIMITED, is an indigenous company that specializes in engineering,chemicals, corrosion coatings & control, industrial, facility & residential painting insulation wellhead maintenance, production facilities & pipeline support services etc.

We have been operational in the oil and gas industry since inception and have worked with ZERO incidents free in all our areas of operations. We have qualified Nigerian personnel and have been providing world class services to the domestic and international need for our Nigerian oil and gas exploration, Production, Refining and Petrochemicals industries both in upstream and downstream Sectors.

The management is all Nigerian with Mr. Jide Oluwayemi (Chief Executive Officer) being a Nigerian and the total regular work force being Nigerians. The totality of these companys’ directors are Nigerians, Any foreign component found in our operations can only come when and if foreign representation is needed for purposes of Manufacturer Warranty endorsement, technology transfer of equipment demonstration processes.

Even at this the work force is continuously reinforced by qualified Nigerians who are given the opportunity of on the job training on the field and will either be absorbed into the working team or called upon from time to time depending on the job at hand.

This affords us the opportunity to continuously exceed the requirements of the Federal Governments Policy on our labor force on Nigerian Content. The main thrusts of this policy therefore are:

• Promote a framework that guarantees active participation of Nigerians in all our activities without compromising standards in order to stimulate growth of indigenous capacity.
• Promote Value Adding in Nigeria by Utilization of local raw materials and human resources for provision of services to the Petroleum industry.
• Promote steady measurable and sustainable growth of Nigerian Content.

In view of the above, TEE SQUARE LIMITED has displayed serious interest in the Nigerian Content project. Headed by the Project Manager, the department is sufficiently empowered to work with Indigenous Companies, Trade Unions and host communities to develop strategies, drive implementation and ensure compliance with the Nigerian Content initiative directives.
